Contohnya termasuk pertemuan dengan pengawal keselamatan pusat beli-belah, semasa pemeriksaan trafik polis, atau dalam situasi di mana polis membalas panggilan mengenai tingkah laku yang mencurigakan atau agresif. <\/p>\n<p>Adalah penting bahawa polis dan responden pertama yang lain memahami autisme untuk mengendalikan situasi dengan tenang dan berkesan. Protokol standard mungkin tidak selalu berfungsi dengan baik untuk individu autistik, yang membawa kepada salah faham. Sebagai contoh, pada 2018, Ahmad Ziqri, <span style=\"color: #0198cf;\"><b><a href=\"https:\/\/newmalaysiaherald.com\/2020\/09\/12\/what-happened-to-ziqri-two-years-ago-trauma-lingers\/\" style=\"color: #0198cf;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">seorang lelaki autistik berusia 22 tahun, telah ditangkap dan ditahan oleh pihak polis kerana didakwa mencabul kehormatan seorang wanita di Subang Jaya, Selangor.<\/a><\/b><\/span>  <\/p>\n<p>Kes Ahmad Ziqri merupakan kes penting di Malaysia tentang bagaimana pihak polis dan sistem keadilan jenayah mengendalikan individu autisme. Susulan kejadian tersebut,<span style=\"color: #0198cf;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.com.my\/news\/nation\/2019\/03\/26\/new-police-sop-for-autism-cases\/?utm_source=storymotherhood&amp;utm_medium=content&amp;utm_campaign=homepage\" style=\"color: #0198cf;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b> Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) telah melancarkan Prosedur Operasi Standard bagi<\/b> <b>Penangkapan dan Penahanan Orang Autistik pada tahun 2019 (Autisme: Garis Panduan PDRM)<\/b>. <\/a><\/span>  <\/p>\n<p>Setiap orang autistik adalah unik, dan mungkin tidak selalu mudah untuk mengetahui sama ada seseorang itu autistik hanya dengan melihat. Ramai individu autistik tidak mempunyai diagnosis formal atau mungkin tidak tahu mereka autistik. Orang lain mungkin memilih untuk tidak mendedahkan keadaan mereka. Walau bagaimanapun, jika seseorang berkelakuan atau bertindak balas dengan cara yang luar biasa, adalah penting untuk mempertimbangkan bahawa mereka mungkin autistik   <\/p>\n<p>Semua pegawai polis dan responden pertama (contohnya pengawal keselamatan, anggota bomba, penyelamat (bomba) dan RELA) sepatutnya dilatih untuk mengenali gejala, tingkah laku dan ciri-ciri kanak-kanak atau orang dewasa yang menghidap autisme dan mempelajari teknik tindak balas asas untuk menyokong individu autisme dengan lebih santun.<\/p>\n<p>Individu autisme akan mempamerkan ciri-ciri berikut:<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row custom_padding_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221;
